I’m masking up again in indoor public spaces, indefinitely, to do my part but also bc flu & colds wrecks havoc on my respiratory system. Masks have worked quite well for me as a prevention tool.

Exactly! Masks are beneficial when illness rates are high to keep kids in school (and parents at work).

PSA: There is no substitute for a flu vaccine.

I'm a former ultramarathon runner and barely have any reaction to the annual shot. Yet viral illnesses still disrupt my work, routine, and I'm usually sick enough to give them to others.
