While I was banging on that box for the kids room I remembered when I was young and learning how to hammer I left some dents in the wood, as you do. Someone told me it was Irish moulding. That didn’t make any sense to me until like yesterday and then I realized how ridiculous it was.
Maybe they all had better things to do than nail up fancy house decorations eh?
